Largest in History: Lenus Secures record-breaking Danish Series A Investment

With a record-breaking investment of 52 million euros, The Danish Health-tech company Lenus is poised to embark on an ambitious expansion plan, adding more than 1,600 new employees as the company gears up for a more substantial global presence, including openings in the USA.

With a mission to reverse the global health decline, Lenus has garnered significant interest worldwide, resulting in the establishment of offices in six countries and a workforce of over 230 employees in just five years.

Today, Lenus received a new venture investment of 52 million euros, marking it as the largest Series A investment in Danish history.

With this funding, we will develop and scale our platform, enhance our recruitment of talented individuals for our team, and expand Lenus globally, with our entry into the USA later this year," says Lenus CEO Bertram Thorslund.

This investment enables Lenus to execute its ambitious expansion plan, which includes increasing its workforce sevenfold across the globe. The company plans to hire more than 1,600 new employees within two years as it strengthens its global presence and prepares for its entry into the USA.

With a 50 million euro contribution, the investment is led by EQT Ventures, marking it as a record-breaking investment for the venture fund as well.

The new capital will be allocated to developing and scaling the platform, as well as expediting international expansion. While the company will further fortify its presence in existing markets, including Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Germany, it will also open doors to new markets, including New York and LA in Q3 2021.
